Chronic Diarrhoea

This is a gastrointestinal condition where the inner lining of the stomach develops ulcer and sores. It occurs when the mucus layer, which protects the stomach lining, diminishes. This layer can be reduced because of ageing, infection or taking some medications. Symptoms like nausea, bloating and burning sensations in the upper abdomen subsist. 

Gallstones

Gallstones are similar to kidney stones, however, here they’re present in the gallbladder.  The size of the stone may vary. High cholesterol and waste in the bile can lead to this condition. Gallstones can block the ducts leading from the gallbladder to the intestine, which causes a lot of pain in the upper right abdomen. There are medications to dissolve the gallstone, however, in some cases, surgery is recommended. 

Haemorrhoids 

Haemorrhoids are swollen veins in the lower part of the anus and rectum. It is also known as piles. These blood vessels located may inflict pain during the bowel movements. It might lead to bleeding and causing pain if not dealt properly. Haemorrhoids cause chronic constipation, diarrhoea. It can eventually be treated by eating more fibre, drinking more water. 

Diverticulitis

A diverticular type of disease is severe, where a set of circumstances leads to imbalances in the digestive system. By forming small pockets known as diverticula in the colon of the large intestine, they swell along with the waste thus causing diverticulitis. This disease can lead to mild or severe problems such as rectal bleeding. Symptoms like fever, getting chills, nausea and vomiting, and bloody stool are present.
